Parent Teacher Interactive Session 2023-Class 1

The PTA interactive session for class I was conducted on 09.06.2023 at 10:30 am in the school AV room.

The Principal Rev Fr Robert DSouza, the Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas, the class teachers and the subject teachers were present for the meeting.

The session began with the prayer song by the class I students guided by the Music teacher Mr Roshan Cordeiro. Ms Neetha Mendonca welcomed the gathering. The class teachers and subject teachers introduced themselves. Ms Suneetha the exam coordinator gave a detail information about the assessment pattern followed in the school.

Ms Apoline Lobo the discipline incharge explained clearly the code of conduct to be followed by the students in the school. She explained about the rules and regulations to be followed by the students and requested the parents to check the wards diary daily. She also requested the parents to send sufficient food and water for their ward to school.

Selection of new PTEC members was done.

Later the parents were given an opportunity to put forth their views.

A parent enquired about the presence of a helper to help the students when they use the washrooms, to send the syllabus for this academic year and include both mother and father’s phone number in the whatsapp group.

The lead teacher Ms Francisca DSouza answered the queries about whatsapp group. She said that the parents who requested to include their phone numbers in the whatsapp group were done. She also guided the parents about the practice work to be done by the students.

The Principal Rev Fr Robert D Souza requested the parents to spend quality time with their child. He also asked parents to be present and available to their child when needed. He requested the parents to avoid sending their child for tutions. He encouraged parents to view the programmes on the You tube and Face book related to the school. He also requested parents to take active part in the activities connected with the Silver Jubilee celebration.

The session ended at 11:15 a.m with words of gratitude from Ms Pamela Miranda. The session was compered by Ms Francisca DSouza.
