Parent Teacher Interactive Session 2023 – Kindergarten

Parent-teacher interactive session for kindergarten was held on 9th June 2023 in the school AV room at 10:30am.

The programme commenced by invoking God’s presence through a prayer song sung by our children of KG 2.The KG Coordinator, Ms Lydia Dsouza welcomed the gathering. All the KG teachers and subject teachers introduced themselves. KG 1 Lead teacher Ms Linette Pereira presented a PPT on Kindergarten Methodology. A Briefing on the highlights of newly started playgroup was done by Ms Jennifer Menezes.

PTA elections was conducted and the following representatives were elected.

The Principal, Rev Fr Robert Dsouza in his address asked parents to drop the queries and suggestions in the suggestion box.

The Principal, Rev Fr Robert Dsouza addressed the gathering.   In his address he spoke about healthy food, punctuality, timings of school and safety of the child.  He urged the parents to be patient, peaceful and happy which would help to build a peaceful and happy environment. He also told the parents to collect the Aadhar card copy of the driver who are using private transport to be on the safer side. Parents were requested not to send any relatives or friends to pick the child without a prior written note signed by the parent. He assured that their child would get a quality education as per their expectations in Lourdes Central School. He informed the parents that they could meet the teachers on Mondays after the classes. He also requested parents not to telephone the teachers in the mornings, instead in emergency to send a WhatsApp message to the teacher.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Malini Menezes. The meeting concluded and it helped to create a strong relationship between the school and the parent fraternity. Ms Reshma Saldanha compered the programme.
