Patla Sambhrama Yakshagaana Competition- 2023
Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation Trust (R.), Mangaluru had organized Yakshadhruva Patla Sambhrama -2023 on 27th& 28th of May at Adyar Gardens, Adyar, Mangaluru.
As s part of the Yakshadhruva Patla Sambhrama- 2023, Yakshagaana competition was held for high school and college students. Our school had taken part in the category of high school. 12 schools had participated in the high school level competition and Lourdes Central School won the second Overall Championship Trophy with Rs.30,000/- cash prize for the Yakshagana Prasanga ‘Taranisena Kaalaga’. Chaman N S has awarded as ‘The Best Performer’ of the team and he also won first prize in ‘PunduVesha’ category.
There were 11 participants in the LCS team and their role in the Yakshaganaprasanga were as follows:

- Daksha Karanth (Neela),
- Anushka Gaaniga (Gavaaksha),
- Tanvi (Gavaya).
It was indeed a proud moment for LCS as our school took part in Yakshagana Competition and came out with flying colours. The students had practiced during the summer vacation under the direction and training of Yakshaguru Rakesh Rai Adka. On 1st June 2023, Yakshagaana team was honoured and Yakshaguru was felicitated by the Principal and the Vice Principals during the school assembly.
