Class 8 Picnic 2023

Play is foundational for bonding relationships and fostering tolerance. …

Our school has a distinguished reputation for imparting all round quality education to its pupils.  Among other activities, regular excursions and trips  are planned and conducted. The school had organised a days Educational and Recreational Trip for Class VIII on 4th November 2023 to Anjali’s Water Park, Hebri. The three Private buses were fully packed with 136   students accompanied with 9 staff members.  We left at 7:45 am after a Prayer lead by our Vice Principal, Mrs Belita Mascarenhas; and reached our destination at 9:20 am. Our exuberant students joyfully sang songs and danced throughout the bus journey until they reached the venue.

We were warmly welcomed by the Park staff, and students were amazed to see the immense water park. The group photograph motivated students to beat the clock which was followed by a delicious breakfast. Students freshened up and neatly kept their belongings at the place provided for them.

After a short tour around the water park, students were extremely thrilled and wasted no time changing clothes to immediately dive into the swimming pool. The water slides, artificial waterfall, landing pool, water fountain mushroom were the attraction and students enjoyed to the fullest. A Lemon juice at 11:00am revitalised their energy levels. The rain dance and water waves  enticed the students to showcase their talents which they couldn’t resist. After a tiring and fun packed morning, grace before meals was said and students headed for lunch. The aroma of food filled the dining hall triggering everyone’s hunger and we all savoured different items. The lunch was surely appetising. After relaxing, and playing with balls and frisbees students once again had a go at  the pool. They had a delightful time particularly enjoying the slides. Photographs  were captured with the students striking  different poses.

At 2:30pm, students reluctantly emerged from the pool and changed into dry sports uniform and were served delicious ice cream. It was now time to head back. Students all lined up for  attendance and wrapped up with a quick thankful note by Nived of Class 8D followed by the Universal Prayer. The buses set off on the return journey at 3:15pm and reached the school campus at 5:00 pm. The parents had already been eagerly anticipating the arrival of their children.

It was truly a fantastic day for all students, evident in the wide smiles on their faces. It was a productive day as students learned togetherness, independence, responsibility for their surroundings and belongings and more importantly, it deepened the bond between the students and their teachers.
